If you missed last night’s call/webinar, you missed a great one! Ruth’s guest was Ted, the owner of Social Outbreak.
Ted talked about what he and the programmers have been up to and what the hold-up has been. Believe me when I
say that he’s very anxious to launch Social Outbreak, as much… if not more than the rest of us, but he is right when he
says that he needs to know that everything is running as it should, with out any bugs.

They’ve been running phase-1 of their beta testing, which has been a fantastic success and now they’re ready for phase-2.
They will be beginning the second phase with in a few days, run it for a couple of days and if no problems are being reported, we are a go for launch.
From the sounds of it, we’re looking at mid to late next week. This is very exciting!!

My advise to you would be to get as many of your friends/business associates in on the pre-placements as possible, because when we launch… we launch to the world in the neighborhood of around 100 countries.

I am a proponent of finding ways to save our planet, preserve it for our children and their children. Yes I’m involved with an Energy Company that is involved in the Deregulation of Energy. It can only benefit the end user by saving money and at the same time help all of us. Here are some quick tips for you to review.

Easy No Cost and Low Cost Ways to Save Energy

No Cost Ways To Save Energy

Turn off your computer and monitor when not in use.
Turn off lights, televisions and other appliances when not in use
Lower the thermostat on your hot water heater to 120°F.
Reduce hot water use by taking shorter showers and using cold water for the rinse cycle in your washer
Run your dishwasher and clothes washer only when full
Clean refrigerator coils regularly to keep compressor running efficiently
Set the refrigerator temperature at 36° to 39° F and freezer at 0° to 5° F
Use the microwave when possible it cooks faster and does’t create as much heat as a stove burner
Air dry dishes instead of using your dishwasher’s drying cycle.
Match the size of your pot or pan to the size of the burner
Make sure your dryer’s outside vent is clear and clean the lint filter after every load
Keep all windows and doors located near your thermostat closed tightly
Keep heat sources such as lamps and appliances away from your thermostat
Wash only full loads of dishes and clothes.
Keep your thermostat at 68°in winter and 78° in summer.
Dry one load of clothes immediately after another to minimize heat loss
Defrost frozen food in the refrigerator before cooking
Use the oven light to check on progress when cooking or baking
Keep your outside air unit clean and clear of debris or weeds
Use low-watt bulbs where lighting is not critical
Place floor lamps and hanging lamps in corners. The reflection off the walls will give you more light
Turn off outdoor lighting during the day.
Try timer switches or photoelectric controls if the finger method is a bother.
Keep your freezer full. The fuller the freezer, the less cold air you lose when opening the door
Use the self-cleaning cycle of your oven right after you finish baking.
That will give it a head start in heating up.
Hang on to appliance manuals so you can refer to them for care information and possible energy-saving tips.

The Landing Page:
Also known as the “name squeeze page” or “lead capture page”, you can build your mailing list by funneling all of your would-be subscribers through the creation of a landing page. Not only do you do the work just once, your traffic driving efforts can be focused onto just one effective method.

The following are tips in creating a successful landing page that converts visitors into subscribers on a very huge percentage.

Success Tip 1: Offer a freebie in exchange for your visitor’s email address. I very much endorse this method of building your mailing list. You can offer a special report or a sample of your paid product to your visitor in exchange for their details such as name and email address.

Success Tip 2: The landing page must be written professionally. When writing your page, treat it as if you are writing a sales letter. While you are not necessarily making a hard sale or try to get someone to buy your product upfront, being able to entice your visitors to give their details to you is just as important as selling.

Success Tip 3: Other than your opt-in form and perhaps important disclaimers and terms, there shouldn’t be any other links on your landing page.

Success Tip 4: Rub in the benefits of the freebie you are offering more than a mere subscription to your newsletter. You should focus most of the attention of the letter on encouraging your prospective visitor to download your free offer. Later, you gently remind your prospect that he or she has nothing to pay but just merely subscribe to your newsletter in exchange for the freebie.

As a final reminder and conclusion, in order to build trust, you can include your hand-written signature or a photo of yourself explaining where you are coming from and how you can help your visitor through your free report or offer.
